Statement:

My mission with this body of work is to create and offer something of lasting value in an a world that is increasingly manufactured. How we choose to decorate ourselves is a personal statement of who we are and how we feel. Wearing pieces that are special to us and our unique experiences can be grounding and empowering. Historically, jewelry has been used to connect individuals in the moment, tie them to their past and secure their legacy with the future by withstanding the test of time and carrying their stories with them. We treasure the jewelry we receive and take time to find the perfect piece for the ones we love. I believe I can only do so much when it comes to determining the value of my work. I only use materials of worth and pay relentless attention to craftsmanship. The real value of the jewelry I create is determined by the individuals who choose to live their lives with these pieces, the experiences they have and the memories they create that my work gets to witness and punctuate, far away from me and hopefully for generations to come.
